The lunch buffet was amazing, and worth the $36/person. We enjoyed trying the creole cuisines- our favorite was the rice, rib eye roast, jambalaya, okra and tomatoes. We also truly enjoyed the creamed spinach, and banana fosters with ice cream. We also enjoyed the Hurricane cocktail, it was a creeper drink because I couldn't taste the alcohol at all- it was perfect! Mark took good care of us, and cleared our plates and refilled our drinks in a blink! There was a live jazz band which added to the ambiance of the beautiful restaurant. When you see the restaurant from outside, you'll never guess the restaurant and courtyard is hiding inside! We would definitely come back again! Happy Eats

After eating food from different restaurants the previous 3 days, I expected the food to be better. Perk is all the options at the buffet. The best item was the sweet potato dish. The outdoor patio was delightful but unfortunately another large party was there celebrating the day after a wedding & we were subject to the most obnoxious father of the bride speech. It was terrible. Anyways, that should have been private. The mic was unnecessary. Our server was great. Loved his personality & his hair.

I always love to dine here. The atmosphere is charming and the food and service is outstanding. The restaurant has been in operation since 1832, so it's one of the oldest eateries still in existence in New Orleans. They have a nice menu with plenty of options to choose from, and no matter what I've selected, I've never had a bad meal here!

This place was recommended for brunch by several people. We were able to get an inside table overlooking the courtyard. They offer an extensive buffet with traditional brunch items and New Orleans dishes. There is a live jazz band that played most of the time that we were there. They have bottomless mimosas with various flavors. I had the pineapple mimosa which was very good. The food was delicious. I loved everything that I ate. Our server Ashae took care of us.

We had a great waitress she was a little quirky and off with memory. Drinks and food took long because waitress said kitchen was "acting a fool" to last night. But you must try the chefs menu. The alligator sausage is delicious a sweet and tangy (not spicy) it's. Big portion. Try the duck breast it's in a fried dark rice bed with a sweet sauce. Perfectly cooked and tender. All entrees are $28-40 and don't bring any sides. You just get the bananas foster dessert Try the sazerac here.

Wow! This place was great! Perfect ambiance. We wanted to sit out in the courtyard but due to the weather we couldn't. Our waitress was the absolute best! She was very friendly and personable. I ordered the French 75 to drink. It is a classic. It's made with gin, sweet and sour, simple syrup, and brut champagne. It is served chilled. So delicious and light! For my meal, I ordered the Veal Oscar, which is pan fried baby white veal cutlets, new potato mash, steamed asparagus, jumbo lump crabmeat, and Tasso hollandaise. This was incredible! So much flavor! It was exactly what I wanted and expected. For my dessert, I ordered the Bananas Foster. It is flambéed table-side with brandy and banana liqueur. It is served with vanilla ice cream. Fantastic! Would definitely go back and recommend!
